HAPPY NEW YEAR FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES !

After a thoroughly rewarding experience last summer, I have once again registered to participate in a two-day major cycling event called The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting BC Cancer Foundation. In 2009, my team of eight riders (Vancouver Velo Vets) raised $30,000 for this worthwhile cause. With your help, we hope to add riders and increase that amount to $50,000 in 2010.

As a frequent visitor to the BC Cancer Agency, I see firsthand the need for further research and funding. The army of doctors, nurses and volunteers at the hospital needs our help as they work towards finding an end to this life-changing disease.

I'll be cycling from Vancouver to Seattle with thousands of other riders. All the proceeds will go to BC Cancer Foundation to support cancer research, treatment, and services. BC Cancer Foundation is a leading comprehensive institution devoted to cancer research and care, and the work they're doing is cutting-edge.

I've agreed to raise at least $2,500, but I've set my personal goal to $3,500. So here's where you come in, because I need your help to do that. I hope that you'll share this incredible adventure with me by joining my team or supporting me in my fundraising efforts.
